For with the same measure that you use, you shall be measured again.

For with the same measure that you use, you shall be measured again. Catholic Gospels - Matthew, Luke, Mark, John - Inspirations of the Holy Spirit Luke 6:27-38

27 "But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
29 If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt.
30 Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.
31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34 If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.
36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven;
38 give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back." (NRSV)

Inspiration of the Holy Spirit - From the Sacred Heart of Jesus

7th Sunday in ordinary time - For with the same measure that you use, you shall be measured again. What am I asking you in the previous words? Is it impossible to think the way that I think, to love the way that I love and to become like me?

Do you think that it is impossible to become a saint while you are here on earth? Would you rather wait for a purification in fire after your judgement?

My dear friend, take my words into your heart, accept the challenge that I present to you, and discover the joy of imitating my perfections. This is the way to grow spiritually, the road of self-denial, which asks your humanity to be restrained in order to allow my divinity to start building your spiritual house that will hold my Presence and welcome my wisdom.

It is not that hard, but it can only be done when your heart is full of my mercy. You see, first of all you must repent of all your sins and see your soul the way I see it. A humble and contrite heart I will not reject, I will rejoice for a soul that comes to me and is worthy to receive the gifts that I have in store.

In my mercy you will experience my forgiveness and you will desire for others to be forgiven also. Peace will reign in your heart as you accept the imperfections of others, since you no longer will see with your human eyes but with the merciful eyes of God.

Your will be purified of your human attachments and desires, and all your expectations will be guided by my wisdom. So, you will be cleansed of your selfishness and become generous, you will be assisted in overcoming your pride by imitating my humility, you will be inclined to do good at any cost. You will feel that you are a different person, this will happen because you will become my instrument.

I am calling you to be a perfect child of God. Become like me.

I am the Son of the Living God, the restorer of souls. I am teaching you by my word to be the person I want you to be: a mirror of Christ, my disciple, my apostle, a bearer of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which I am sending as refining fire to purify the earth.
