Sacred Heart of Jesus
The heart besides being the main
organ of the body, is a place connected to the mind and soul in which we
keep all our good and bad emotions, feelings and inclinations.
Mark 7:21-22
21 For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions
come: fornication, theft, murder,
22 adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander,
pride, folly.
As far as the good things found in
our hearts:
2 Chronicles 19:3 : Nevertheless, some good is
found in you, for you destroyed the sacred poles out of the land, and
have set your heart to seek God."
Psalm 73:1 Truly God is good to the upright, to those who are
pure in heart.
Luke 6:45 The good person out of the good treasure of the heart
produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil;
for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
Jesus Christ Our Lord, the Son of the
Living God and the son of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the perfect man,
the Christ, a man with a perfect sacred heart. He came to the world to teach us
how to have a good heart
In the Old Testament Samuel said to
David that He would establish a new Kingdom that would last forever
through His servant David, a man He sought after His own heart. God's
Kingdom has been established forever and its center is the Sacred Heart
of Jesus. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the throne of God's Mercy, where
we find forgiveness and consolation.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus was pierced
by a lance after his death. He offered His life to the Father for the
forgiveness of our sins, His heart opened up allowing blood and water to
flow as a sign of mercy and grace for us.
It is from the Sacred Heart of Jesus
that Jesus Christ Our Lord extends His Divine
Mercy to us
