What is in the heart of Jesus, what can Jesus tell us about the Priesthood? - Treasury of Prayers, Catholic inspirations, meditations, reflexions

The Lord speaks:
I want you all to know that I am the Highest Priest of the Order of Melchizedek.
My Royal Priesthood is not of this world, but of Heaven. The people of God had many Priests in the Old Testament, good men anointed by God to offer prayers and sacrifices of animals to appease the anger of God. But those sacrifices only atoned for the sins of the people they were offered for at that time, they offered material sacrifices, finite offerings that would not satisfy the Divine Justice permanently.
A sacrifice of infinite value was required to atone for the sins of all humankind once and for all, this is why I came into the world to offer myself as the temple, the Priest, the altar and the victim. I am the Lamb of God who takes the sins of the world. There is no other sacrifice as mine capable of appeasing the just anger of God caused by the sins of the human race.

I was in God in the beginning, I am the Word of God, and I speak from the Will of the Father. We brought the world into being, with the Holy Spirit, which is the Love and Power of the Father, and Mine. We gave life to the universe and we sustain it. We created the angels, spiritual beings, beautiful images of our own being, some of them became proud and were cast away from Heaven, others remain faithful and give Glory to God by their service and adoration.

Then we created human beings in our own image, creatures made of the dust of the earth, made weak on the exterior, but filled with the breath of God, the soul, and the spirit, to grow like little seeds and produce a spiritual harvest for the Glory of God. Man was created immortal, but because of his disobedience, he lost his immortality and was cursed to die. Our human creation failed in Paradise because sin entered into the world. The evil one, Satan, the head of the fallen angels still proud and now full of hatred against God, started a war against God in his new creatures. Therefore, God in His infinite perfections sent Me into the world to put an end to the slavery of sin by my Grace.

I am full of Grace and Truth, my Grace is the gift of God to everyone, my Divine Mercy is given to all sinners because the infinite offense made by sin has been atoned for, by my sacrifice of infinite value on the cross.

As Priest, I offered myself to the Father, and I offered myself as food and drink in the bread and wine that I consecrated on Holy Thursday, the night of the Last Supper. What I offered was my true broken body on the cross and the Precious Blood that I shed for your redemption. I therefore established my New Royal Priesthood in my Church, I anointed my Apostles in their Baptism and I confirmed them with my blessing to be the New Priests of my Church, where Peter was the first Bishop, also Pope, who was given my authority to anoint and consecrate Priests in my service. All consecrated Priests by the Catholic Church have the power that comes from me to administer the seven Sacraments, which are Holy encounters with Me.

As temple, I encompassed all human beings in my soul, I created them, I gathered them in my heart and with all my love I died for everyone, I paid already their sins. I am the vine, you are the branches, remain in me and live with me forever.

As the altar, I was nailed to the cross to become the Supreme Altar where I want all human beings to come to make an offering of Thanksgiving to the God who has become man like any of you in order to suffer so that you can come back from death to life in me. I am at the altar; I am Emanuel, God with you, truly present at the altars of the crucified God-man

As the sacrifice, and as the victim, I am the true Lamb of God who was sacrificed. I suffered the most unspeakable torments, I was totally humiliated in order to overcome the pride of souls that has led them to sin. When I raised the bread and the wine at the Last Supper I said to the Apostles, do this in memory of me. I perpetuated my holy sacrifice on the cross by extending it to the altars of the Church by the hands of my Priests when they lift me up. And, even though it is done in an unbloody manner; it is done in my Spirit which is Omnipresent and Omnipotent. The command of my Eternal Word is there as an echo of my voice on Holy Thursday, so at the words of the Priest I come to the altar and turn the bread into my body and the wine into my blood. It is I, the Lord, who perpetuate my sacrifice on the cross through the consecration done during Holy Mass. When I am lifted up, I will draw all humanity to me. (John 12:32)

Who are my Priests? My Priests are men who have listened to my voice, I called them to this divine vocation and by my Grace, they have been anointed to honour God with the holy anointing they have received which the Holy Spirit has passed from Peter and the Apostles to all men consecrated in the Sacrament of Holy Orders to the Catholic Church. When you see a Priest at the altar during the consecration, He is letting my Words give power to the offering in such way that the bread and the wine offered become my flesh and my blood, that solemn moment is attended by a multitude of Heavenly Host who come to give Glory to God. No other men on earth have received such a Heavenly Gift, only my Mother had the dignity of giving me life in her virginal womb, but the Priest during the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass has the dignity of bringing me to life once more, so that you all may receive me and nourish your souls.
And the miracle of my Presence is repeated in all the Seven Sacraments of the Church.

In Baptism, when you are baptized in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, you become part of my body, the stain of your original sin blotted out, and my supernatural Sanctifying Grace fills your soul.

In Confirmation, you are anointed by the Bishop or designated Priest to confirm your faith, and to receive my Holy Spirit.

In the Sacrament of Confession, I listen to your sins through the Priest, your humility is put to the test as you confess your sins to a man who has been appointed by my order. He gives you my forgiveness and He will give you some penance to compensate and start paying for your guilt.

In Holy Communion, you partake of my body and my blood, the food and nourishment of your souls. You stay united to my body and receive many graces to sustain you in your spiritual life.

In the Sacrament of Matrimony, I unite a man and a woman as one, forever, they receive my blessing through the Priest.

In the Sacrament of the Extreme Unction or the Anointing of the sick, I give a blessing to the sick, if it is the Will of the Father, I give healing to the sick, but in all cases I forgive their sins.

In the Sacrament of Holy Orders, I anoint new men to become other Christs, they become Priests to serve me and to serve everyone.

Priest forever of the order of Melchizedek
