In an effort to proclaim the Word of God,
we have created a radio program in Spanish, which is supported by
podcasts and recordings that we store in our database,
the Encounter with Jesus is based on our prayer group before the Blessed
Sacrament, which we are doing in Colombia South America.
During our encounter with Jesus, we always have a moment to repent and to pray for forgiveness, to praise and worship the Lord, to give thanks and to count all our blessings. We also do some prayers of deliverance.
We also study the Word of God and meditate
the Gospels with revelations from the Lord in which he explains the Gospels. We also
spend some time reflecting on a
spiritual topic. And we finish our meeting with a prayer
of healing.
Jesus is truly present in our meeting, because
we gather in his name as He tells in the gospels.
Countless are the blessings and healings
that God gives us when we open our hearts, Jesus is our best friend and He
responds faithfully following his promises in the Gospels.
Our spiritual approach to Jesus is
continually answered, He then is waiting for us to bless us this our encounter with
Him.
The priest
has been anointed by the authority of Jesus at the Last Supper instituted the
Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. He named the Apostles and gave them the
authority to continue their work and simultaneously elected by apostolic
succession men who would continue the priesthood of Jesus, High Priest of the Order of
Melchizedek until the end of time.
The Priest enables us to have encounters with
Jesus in the seven sacraments of the Church, which are like rivers through which
flows the Divine Grace.
What saves us is the Precious Blood of
Christ in the Holy Eucharist, which like in Calvary flows in the Church to give us
eternal life.
In God we
live, we move and have our being. That's when we accept what Jesus has told us
in His Word: I am the life.
If we learn to live in the presence of
God, then we can be in a continuous encounter with Jesus, to Him we can talk
like children, we may ask Him as children, we can trust Him as friends, we can ask
Him
forgiveness as our Savior that He is, we can ask His constant companionship throughout
our activities and so we have a constant encounter with Jesus.
We must
read, listen and meditate the gospel daily, because that Word in the Gospels is the Word of Jesus,
the Living Word, filled with His Spirit.
God's Word has the power to transform
us, and gives us the grace to change and become more spiritual, it gives us the
strength to live a holy life.
All prayers
are direct paths to the Presence of God, because they have the power to be the
fuel of the fire of our faith.
When we stop praying, there comes the
barrenness of our souls and we enormously drift apart from God.
The Our Father, Hail Mary and the Gloria are
the most powerful prayers for our faith. Recitation of the Holy Rosary leads us
to contemplate the life, passion and death of Jesus, also his Resurrection,
Ascension and Glory. Those prayers also teach us to live our prayers to the Virgin Mary,
Holy of Holies, the Mother of God.
Our
encounter with Jesus through Radio, began in the Voice of Hope Armenia Quindio
dot FM in Colombia. www.lavozdelaesperanza.fm
For the Glory of God we are collecting
all these beautiful recordings of encounters with Jesus to have them always
available, so we can hear them anytime. On Thursdays
www.lavozdelaesperanza.fm
