This is what you are to me, Lord - You are everything to me, LordLet us discover the nearness of God – How closer can You be my God?
My dear brother or sister, let us start by emptying ourselves before the Lord in adoration.
Oh my God, You are everything to me.
You are my light, my way, my truth, my life.
You are the light that shines in my soul, the shining path—always straight and secure—to follow, the crystal truth that illumines me daily and assures my salvation.
Oh Lord, You are my great desire, the object of my existence, the cause of my joy, the delightful treasure I keep hidden in my heart.
My God, You are Joy. You are the source of continuous moments of happiness—discovering and being in Your Presence. You are my God, full of surprises and undeserved graces.
You are my faithful companion, my confidence, and my strength.
You are the constant voice that speaks in my silent heart. You call me constantly and want to shape me in Your own holiness. You never give up on me, even when I stumble.
My God, You constantly manifest Your Divine Providence to me. You take care of me in all situations, You rejoice in my adoration, You answer my prayers.
You want everything from me, since You have given Yourself totally to me.
Lord, my God, despite my wretchedness, You always cling to me—both in good and bad moments. If I sin, You are ready to forgive. If I forget You, You gently remind me to come back. You never tire of me; You want me to glorify You.
Remain in me, oh Lord, and grant me the grace to remain in You. You are my salvation; I adore You and I trust in You.
You are my strength against temptations and against my defiant enemies.
I feel so privileged by Your company. I need You, Lord—without You, my temple is empty.
Fill me with Your Light, reveal to me Your desires, and grant me perseverance to do Your Holy Will, now and forever. Amen.
