The commemoration of all the faithful departed

Gospels explained by Jesus - Gospel messages, gospels explanation - The commemoration of all the faithful departed33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole earth until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying: Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabacthani? Which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
35 And some of the standers by hearing, said: Behold he called Elias.
36 And one running and filling a sponge with vinegar, and putting it upon a reed, gave him to drink, saying: Stay, let us see if Elias come to take him down.
37 And Jesus having cried out with a loud voice, gave up the spirit.
38 And the veil of the temple was rent in two, from the top to the bottom.
39 And the centurion who stood over against him, seeing that crying out in this manner he had given up the spirit, said: Indeed this man was the son of God.
1 AND when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought sweet spices, that coming, they might anoint Jesus.
And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they come to the sepulcher, the sun being now risen.
3 And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe: and they were astonished.
6 Who said to them: Don’t be afraid; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen, he is not here, behold the place where they laid him.

Inspiration of the Holy Spirit - From the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Gospels explained by Jesus - Gospel messages, gospels explanation - 31th Sunday in ordinary time
I surrendered my life on the cross voluntarily. As God, I had all the power to avoid my death, but as Savior I knew the price of my mission, this is why I consented to all the tortures and to death.

As man, I felt the temptation to reject the chalice of suffering. I prayed to my Father three times, but in doing his holy will I allowed everything to happen the way He had disposed. At the time of my death I felt the rejection of all humanity that despised my sacrifice. I felt the abandonment of all human beings when they sin and turn their backs to me. I had great frustration for all those who didn’t put value to my saving work and I felt the abandonment of my Father.

All human beings are subject to temptation and to the rejection of God’s will, however I have come to give my testimony of self-denial, humility and perfect love, which consists in loving God up to the point of self-sacrifice.

It is precisely by not doing the will of God that every person who rejects the cross feels as if it gets heavier and bigger through suffering. Those who using their wisdom accept the will of God feel a special joy when they have any adversity because they have surrendered their lives to the divine will and understand that God has absolute control of everything that occurs, especially concerning the spiritual world which is not temporal as suffering but extends to eternal life. Every cross has as a crown as a reward; every suffering has a spiritual reward. Many adversities allow the soul to obtain pardon, humility, perseverance, strength and wisdom, very important things in the spiritual way.

The veil of the sanctuary was torn at the moment of my death as a sign of disapproval of the sacrifice of animal for the expiation of sins, implementing in this way the new covenant between God and men in which I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

With my divine power I surrendered my life to become the salvation of humanity and I continue giving my life to all those who receive me in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. For those who die with me I have the gift of the resurrection and eternal life.
